EAA Chap 1479
FEBRUARY 2009 MEETING RECAP

    Thanks to the 20 members who sallied forth last chilly Thursday evening!

    We welcomed into our fold, Nick Bingham, an Aeromedical Examiner (Class II and III) new to St Joseph and Mark Pickerel, our newest registered member in Chap 1479 and the EAA.

    We reviewed topics discussed at the Chap Business meeting conducted on Mon 23 Feb at 530PM.

NOTE: All such business meetings are open to all membership attendance.
           We will post the scheduled meeting times on http://XPSkyriders.org.
           We will conduct these meetings quarterly, on the Mon prior to Chapter meeting.
           If a need arises or an event is close-at-hand, we will schedule these meetings as necessary to prepare for the upcoming event. In these cases, committee chairmen can be expected to attend.

           Wayne Litherland Chapter Webmaster talked about the design and future plans of our chapter website. We can now submit photos to be placed on the website.         So  dig our your favorite aviation photos, aircraft, or project photos and send them to Wayne. He'll post them on the site and he will need your authorization to post them.         Future plans for the site include a Bulletin Board for announcements and more links. If you have an idea regarding the website, by all means forward them to Wayne.  We want the site to be our main contact point for the chapter activities, so if you miss an event, the site will ideally keep you informed.

           So as not to burn everyone out by doing too much, we have planned 3 Chapter sponsored weekend events, denoted by **.

    MAR      25th  Chapter Meeting   "EAA WEBSITE ORIENTATION" at 180th AS Briefing Room ANG Base at Rosecrans Muni

    APR       11th or 18th  Planning a Fly-out to Mexico MO to visit Zenith Aircraft Co.   In coordination with EAA Chap 64 and Zenith. **
